Terms of Service

These terms apply when you hire PageForge for website work. By paying a deposit or approving a quote, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PageForge is operated by John Belew, sole proprietor, based in Texas, serving clients across the United States. In these terms, “PageForge,” “I,” and “me” mean John Belew doing business as PageForge. “You” means the client.
2. Services
PageForge provides website design and build services, such as the Basic Webpage (1–3 pages, mobile-friendly, with a contact path). The exact scope and price are stated on your quote or invoice.
3. Payment
A deposit is due before work begins. The remaining balance is due on delivery of the finished site or files. Payment can be made by Stripe payment link or invoice. The deposit amount is stated on your quote or invoice.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: full refund if you cancel before the build starts; after the build starts, the deposit is non-refundable. One revision round is included.
5. Your content
You provide the content for your site (business name, text, photos, logos, hours, contact details, and so on). You confirm that you own or have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
6. Ownership
After full payment, you own the finished site that was built for you. Until full payment is received, the work remains the property of PageForge.
7. No guarantees of results
I build clean, working websites, but I do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or revenue.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PageForge’s total liability for any claim related to its services is limited to the amount you paid PageForge for those services. PageForge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Collin County, Texas.
10. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. The terms in effect when you paid your deposit apply to your project.
